The very first thing we did at the garment manufacture we collaborate with was a beautiful “Flower of Life” wall painting. Although my good friend Yasantha and I already knew some of the women who worked there from our village, the wall painting marked the very beginning of our relationship and will always be “the background” of our connection.
We actually did the wall painting just for fun because my sister is an artist, and she was traveling in Sri Lanka at the time. I invited her for a wall painting session there, even though we hadn’t placed a single order yet, and the whole idea of building a brand was basically just an idea at that time.
