Handmade Incense Box (sticks, cones, ropes & stands)

Our precious, natural and handmade incense are made of sacred flowers, collected after prayers and ceremonies from the holiest sites and temples of Kathmandu-Nepal. A reincarnation of offered flowers, blessed by devoting people and blended with fine Himalayan herbs.

We source our sacred incense from a small women-led incense business with a lot of meaning behind their actions. Besides keeping holy heritage sites clean and recycling the precious offered flowers, the project enables women from the local communities to participate in a free training to learn the handcraft of incense making and have a good income with fair wages per bundle to work from home in their own rhythm while being able to be with their families.

The incense box is made out of „Lokta Paper“, a handmade artisan paper indigenous to Nepal. Every package includes a stand for the incense.
